Last night, I was blessed with a warm room full of new and old friends to showcase my full band for the first time. I almost can't explain to you how important this night was for me. Firstly, John Craigie came into town to open for me and I always love his stories and hanging out with that brother. To have the hard-work rehearsing all summer with the different members of the group result in a wonderful sounding quartet was really fun. And finally to receive all the love back from the audience in my home town was so nourishing, I have been longing for a chance to give and receive in equal measure with Vancouver.
