Vi An came with us to the trip to Gibsons last minute, we had met her a couple weeks previously at Chai Gallery and immediately invited her into our circle of musicians and friends. Almost everyday we would be hanging out, improvising, and performing. At the Jordao Gallery show she opened and blew people away before I played my solo set. Later on she opened for the Red Light Monastery and rejoined us for incredible improvised pieces as the party took off.
We are definitely hoping she does come back to Vancouver and leaves Calgary behind her. I love her and so does all of us in RLM and the Chai community!
